at least lvl 7, maybe go on to lvl 8. Sounds like you may have not finished all the available quests.

Finish all the quests with skill rewards for your primary and secondary profession
Finish the quest that gives you a free skill point
Watch the world burn

If you`ve got your belt pouch and are tired of hanging around, go now. You know what`s going on so it`s not that big a deal.

I brought 3 of my characters post searing at lv8 and one at lv7. At that point there was nothing to do, everything was explored and I was getting little to no experience from killing those that did attack me.

Whats fun about people moving on at low levels is the PvP battle. My lv7 Necro teamed with one other person and Alesia and Stefan for that. We mopped the floor with the group of lv4 players on the opposing team 0-9.

Now I get lv4-6 people paying me to run them from ascalon to piken square (post-searing) cause its hard for them at that low lv to get around even with hench. I say move on at lv7-8 as you'll be in decent shape to get around in the Post Searing world.

I did however come across a lv15 Monk still in Pre-Searing lol... he kept killing Charr over and over and over...

Simply stated and accurate. Just do what you can for your classes and get outta there. Its a waste of time to do some of those quest for 150 exp that have you spending too much time. Get your skills, skill points, and enjoy the fireworks. I normally got out around lvls 4-6 and had no problem in the seared world with henchmen.

I guess the best level is either 7 or 8. Althought i have seen in pre-searing ascalon level 9 or 10 people still staying there.

I get my second profession and get the hell out of there. I would rather watch paint dry than stay in Pre-Searing any longer than I absolutely have too. I've crossed over as early as level 3, and gained a few levels in the Ascalon Arena until I was ready for missions. If your not a noob to the game then you can cross over early and your level really shouldn't matter that much.
